60th anniversary
The Viennese landmark celebrates its anniversary on 19 April 2024 with free admission from 10:00 to 11:00 and other offers.
The Danube Tower Vienna celebrates its 60th birthday on 19 April 2024. To mark the anniversary, there will be very special treats for visitors - the perfect opportunity to pay a visit to Vienna's landmark, indulge in culinary delights, test Europe's highest slide and admire the city from a different perspective.
Early risers take note: On the anniversary day, the Danube Tower will open its doors free of charge from 10:00 to 11:00, with free coffee and Gugelhupf for those waiting during this time.
As a further highlight, all those born in the anniversary year 1964 who present their ID will receive a free annual ticket for the Danube Tower on this day.
From 11:00 a.m., guests aged 6 and over can explore the tower with the heavily discounted admission & lift ticket for just € 6, and there is no charge at all for the youngest visitors under the age of 6.
For those who want to celebrate the birthday of Vienna's landmark even longer, there will be attractive slide and annual ticket anniversary promotions on 19 April:
- Slide: when purchasing six slide tickets, each costs just €1 and remains valid for a whole year.
- Annual ticket: Adults aged 15 and over pay € 60, children aged 3-14 enjoy a special price of € 19.64.
The Donauturm's catering facilities will also be offering special treats on this day:
- The Turm Café has a special selection of cakes and drinks.
- Sausages and drinks will be available on the indoor terrace from 13:00.
- The entrance & lift ticket for the Turm Restaurant will be reduced from € 9 to € 6 on the anniversary day (reservation required).
