Smoke developing in the Danube Tower
9 November 2023: Due to welding work below the Turm Café level, a smouldering fire broke out today at 10.15 a.m. - to explain: the fire brigade was alerted due to the smoke development.

Due to welding work below the tower café level, a smouldering fire broke out today at 10.15 a.m. - to explain: the fire department was alerted due to the smoke development. The Danube Tower was temporarily closed for safety reasons. The fire department operation was successfully concluded at 11:30 am. We are pleased to report that this incident did not result in any personal injury or damage to property.
