Reservation is required for the Tower Restaurant.

For fire prevention reasons, open fires and candles are prohibited without exception on the entire Danube Tower.

Before visiting our Turm Café or Turm Restaurant, you must purchase an admission ticket including lift ticket.

Interactive multi-touch walls shorten your waiting time for the elevator with stories about the Danube Tower.

The two elevators each carry a maximum of 15 people (including the obligatory elevator staff) to the central floor within 35 seconds at 6.20m/s.

Various discounts can only be granted upon presentation of a valid identity card:

Children: photo ID
Students: student ID
Persons with disabilities: Disabled person's pass
Seniors: senior citizen pass

Same day bookings can be made on our website, although we recommend that you book at least one day in advance.

There is no time restriction to your visit. Once inside, you can enjoy the views and the experience for as long as you like, until closing time.

Children under 3 years receive a free ticket at the Front Office  in combination with an adult or senior ticket.

If you have purchased a voucher from one of our partners or approved ticket sellers please check if your voucher needs to be redeemed or activated before visiting us. In oder to avoid any disappointment please check our opening times as these can sometimes vary due to private event closures.

If you have any further questions regarding your voucher you will need to directly contact the company the voucher is purchased from.

A limited number of paid parking spaces are available directly at the Donauturm.

For consumption in the Turm Restaurant, Turm Café or Donaubräu we offer the following:

up to € 20,- 1h free parking
up to € 35,- 2h free parking
from € 35,01- 3h free parking

For owners of parking permits for people with disabilities according to § 29b StVO, parking in the disabled parking spaces is free of charge. Please ring the bell at the barrier.

Please also use the public parking spaces on Arbeiterstrandbadstraße within walking distance. You can reach the Donauturm in just a few minutes.

The indoor terrace must be accessible at all times and can therefore only be visually closed off, as it is part of the escape route and evacuation zone in case of fire or emergency (tower restaurant, tower café, central floor). The use of liquid gas and open flames (e.g. candlelight, spray candles, etc.) is strictly prohibited throughout the tower head. All furniture and
decorative items must comply with flammability class B1 in accordance with ÖNORM B 3800/1 and may only be used if they can be shown to comply with at least this flammability class.

There are 2 variants of vouchers:

top of present: There are value vouchers in the amount of € 10,-, € 20,- or € 50,-, which you can buy online in our webshop or on site. Of course, there are various motifs from which you can choose.

top of culinary: Give value vouchers in the amount of € 50,- in addition with a reduced entrance ticket in the amount of € 9,- for adults (Total € 59,-) for a visit to the Turm Restaurant or for brunch in the Turm Café. These vouchers are only valid with a table reservation.

All vouchers can be redeemed in the entire Donauturm.

Our value vouchers are valid for 30 years from the date of issue.

All vouchers are available directly at the Donauturm during the current opening hours or in the online store via Print@home on our website.

All value vouchers purchased from us in ticketing or online can be redeemed directly at the time of payment in the entire Donauturm.

We welcome requests for filming and photography, usually outside of our general business hours.

Bringing dogs up the Danube Tower is not permitted by the authorities. Please leave your dog in suitable care on the ground. Taking guide dogs and assistance dogs is permitted.

Dogs are very welcome at the Donaubräu.

Guests in wheelchairs can visit the Danube Tower free of charge.
People with impairments receive a 50% discount.
If you take a caregiver with you, he or she pays only the rate of a child ticket.

Children under 14 years of age are allowed entry only when accompanied by an adult.

We encourage you to take photos. If you post them on social media, please use #Donauturm.

Visitors are welcome to bring hand-held cameras and video equipment to create images and footage for their own personal, non-commercial use.

We regret that tripods and monopods are not permitted onsite.

Guests are welcome to bring handheld cameras to take photographs for personal use.

It is not possible to bring tripods or other large items of photographic equipment into the Danube Tower.

To request a permit for commercial photography or filming please contact our Press Department.

No food & drinks are allowed on our observation deck. You are welcome to visit one of our restaurants in the tower or at the foot of the tower before and after your visit.

Smoking is officially prohibited throughout the tower.

The visit of the observation deck as well as the gastronomy is permitted in compliance with the framework conditions specified by the Austrian Federal Government. All necessary measures are taken for the safety of the guests and employees.

The majority of our employees completed a first aid course.

In addition to the printed glossy photo, you also receive the image digitally on your cell phone free of charge - to send to friends or post on social media.

The printed photo is available for purchase from the photographer team on the first floor.

If you have purchased a voucher from a third party, please follow the redemption instructions provided with the voucher or contact your agent.
